This flowchart provides a quick reference to some of the key features of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009 (SA).

In the chart:

• Payment claim means a claim made by the claimant which states that it is made under the Act (section 13)
• Payment schedule means a reply to a payment claim (section 14)
• ANA means an authorised nomination authority (section 28)
• Adjudication response means a response by a respondent to an adjudication application (section 20)
